What drives you and what do you enjoy most about being a Senior Client Relations Manager?
My motivation is to help others by providing excellent customer service, create solutions to problems, or by being a supportive team member. By providing excellent customer service, I feel my work is having a positive impact on others making a difference in our community.
What was your journey to the investment world and NPF specifically?
I entered the investment world in 2015 when I joined a young money management company immediately after graduating from Grand Valley State University. I remained with that company through a merger, working my way up through various roles on the Advisor Services Team until I was recruited to NPF in 2022. I was drawn to NPF because their culture and values align with my personal values.
What are the values that drive you in your professional and personal life?
Community and compassion are core values that I live by in my professional and personal life. Creating new and fostering existing relationships has provided me with the opportunity to grow as an individual and provides me joy being able to share kindness, compassion, and respect with others.
Where did you grow up and where do you live today?
I grew up in Borculo, Michigan with my dad, mom, older sister, and younger brother and our many animals. I now live in Allendale with my husband, Travis, and our two kids, Felicity and Beckham. My love of animals has continued as an adult so we also have three dogs (Dexter, Ollie, and Penny) and one cat (Skye).
What is your favorite book…movie…band…podcast…sport (entertainment and/or business)?
Favorite book…there are so many! Reading is my way of escaping reality for a little while to reset. I enjoy books that make me laugh and cry within the same chapter.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I love spending time with my family and friends and providing new experiences for my kids. I also enjoy reading, baking, walking my pups, watching my daughter fall in love with horses, and making s’mores over a fire with my family.
