What drives you and what do you enjoy most about being an Investment Advisor?
What drives me is helping people gain clarity and confidence in their financial lives. I find it deeply rewarding to walk alongside clients during times of uncertainty—especially when unexpected life events arise—and help them make well-informed, empowered decisions. I’m particularly passionate about supporting women who have experienced divorce or the loss of a spouse, providing the guidance and reassurance they need to move forward with strength.

At the same time, I value building relationships with a wide range of individuals and families. My goal is always to deliver personalized, thoughtful advice that helps each client feel secure, understood, and in control of their financial future—no matter where they are in life.

What was your journey to the investment world and NPF specifically?
I began college as an English writing major but quickly realized that I would need something to write about! I was hoping to get into journalism and felt that if I picked up an Economics major, I would maybe find passion in writing about financial news and macro-economic topics. What I didn’t know is that I would fall in love with the investment world itself! After college, I accepted a job with Goldman Sachs where I specialized in client relationship management for hedge fund clients, managing the onboarding of new clients onto Goldman’s platforms. When my personal life took me back to Grand Rapids, I made the pivot into personal finance and investing for individuals and families.  NPF has served clients with the same level of care, dedication, and integrity that I was looking to continue in my own career, so this was an easy fit!

What are the values that drive you in your professional and personal life?
Integrity and openness are the core values that really drive me. I believe in doing what’s right, even when it’s not easy and in being transparent and honest in every interaction. These values create the foundation for trust and trust is everything in both life and in business.

Is there a person or experience that influenced you most?
I was a Spanish minor in college and did a study abroad for a semester in Seville, Spain. I loved my time there and felt so welcomed by the people and culture. This experience really broadened my horizons and laid the foundation for me to have the confidence to move to New York City upon graduating from college. My time in NYC was not only a great way to begin my career but was also where I met my husband and formed some of my best life-long friendships.

What is your favorite place in Grand Rapids?
My favorite place in Grand Rapids is Frederick Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park! It’s such a great place for the kids to run around and explore. We love going to all the different seasonal events and concerts!

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Outside of work, I’m busy keeping up with my two young children so we don’t have much free time to spare these days! If my husband and I ever have some free time, we both love traveling and golfing.
