Personal Insights

What do you enjoy most about being a Client Relations Manager?
I enjoy getting to know our clients. I love when I’m able to help clients with requests or questions – and it’s a great feeling when a client gets excited when we see or talk to each other.

What was your journey to the investment world and NPF specifically?
After graduating from GVSU I accepted a position with Flagstar Bank, where I spent two and a half years learning all about retail banking. A friend told me about a position that opened up in the trust department at Founders Bank and Trust, a neighboring bank. I accepted a position there in 2010 and I worked in their trust operations department until the bank was acquired by Old National Bank in 2014, at which point my role was changed to a Client Service Representative (CSR) with Old National Wealth Management. I spent 7 years in total in retail banking until I was recruited to work at NPF. I have been at NPF since 2017.

What one value stands above all others for you?
Integrity is the one word I like to live by at work and at home.

Where did you grow up and where do you live today?
I grew up in Kentwood and moved to the west side of Grand Rapids when I got married. We moved to Alto after having our first child.

What is your favorite restaurant in Grand Rapids?
Brick & Porter – they have the best fries in town!

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy spending time outside with my family. I especially enjoy exploring the beautiful beaches of West Michigan.
