What drives you and what do you enjoy most about being a research analyst?
I am drawn to the collaborative and impact driven nature of client relations management. My background in finance plus hands on experience in operational and client focused environments drives me to build strong client relationships.
What was your journey to the investment world and NPF specifically?
I have always had an interest in the financial markets and a desire to help individuals achieve their financial goals. NPF’s client centric approach and commitment to long term value creation resonated deeply with my personal philosophy.
What are the values that drive you in your professional and personal life?
Ambition, responsibility, and a pursuit of significance are the guiding values that shape my professional and personal life. I believe in taking ownership of my work, striving for meaningful outcomes, and dedicating myself to the success of the clients and the team at NPF.
Where did you grow up and where do you live today?
Growing up in Metro Detroit, specifically in the city of Taylor, I wanted to experience a different part of the state and chose Grand Valley to explore West Michigan for the first time. My time at GVSU also afforded me the incredible opportunity to spend a semester studying abroad in Ireland, where I embraced the richness of European culture. Following my return to Grand Rapids, I’ve decided to stay in the community and embark on my professional career here.
What is your favorite venue in West Michigan?
The Van Andel Arena is a great venue here in Grand Rapids. I’ve enjoyed catching both a concert and some hockey games there. It’s got a great atmosphere for different kinds of events. It’s also where my graduation ceremony was held.
What is your favorite sports team?
While I’m not a die-hard sports fanatic, I definitely love the Lions.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I’m an avid traveler and a thrill seeker who enjoys the rush of a good roller coaster. Evenings with friends often involve lively board game sessions, with great conversations and strategic thinking. I also like spending time painting, drawing, and going to the gym. When I’m looking to unwind in nature, fishing provides a peaceful escape. Spending quality time with my family is incredibly important to me as well.
