Meet Maddie Beek
Please join NPF Investment Advisors in welcoming Maddie Beek to our team. Maddie joined us April 4 in the position of Client Relations Manager, charged with helping establish, maintain and enhance our relationships with clients.
Maddie comes to NPF from a Grand Rapids investment advisory firm. There, she worked her way up to the position of Advisor Service Team Lead, overseeing a team of five in training and supporting advisors across the country. Much of her work involved streamlining processes to ensure advisors could deliver the most timely, accurate service to clients.
“I’m excited that I now get to focus on the client-support side of the business at NPF,” says Maddie. “I love the family feel here and I look forward to working with clients to achieve their wealth goals.”
Helping others comes naturally to Maddie, whose original career aspiration was social work. She pursued the discipline in school and worked at social service organizations such as Hope Network in Grand Rapids. “I worked in direct care, assisting low-functioning and non-verbal individuals. It taught me patience and the ability to make the best of any given situation to help people learn and grow.”
She found the work very rewarding but began to wonder if another profession would enable her greater opportunities. After much consideration, she altered her career path and earned a degree in Liberal Studies, with an emphasis in Leadership and Management in Societies, from Grand Valley State University. Maddie still wanted to make a difference for people – and once she discovered an aptitude for the world of wealth-building, it was clear that helping people maximize their financial freedom would be the way she’d do it. Born in Zeeland, Maddie now lives with her husband Travis, daughter Felicity, son Beckham and their three dogs in Allendale. She is a former high school athlete, an avid and accomplished home baker, and an outdoor enthusiast who regularly travels to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula for camping and backpacking. She is also a supporter of Gilda Club’s Grand Rapids, a local cancer support community.
